Buying

Unframed giclees, cards and matted minis  can be purchased directly from the website. You can add several items to the shopping cart and when you are ready to check out you will be directed to a Paypal site to complete your transaction. after completing your transaction you will return to thegreekartist.com to confirm your purchase. 

For framed pieces you will need to call Pauline at  919 848 1719. 

Orders can be emailed or phoned in that you might want to purchase at an upcoming show. They will be held until picked up if they are prepaid. Unpaid orders will be held only until the end of the first day.

We do not have a bricks and mortar building. When we are not doing shows the inventory is kept in a climate controlled storage. If you are in the triangle area we can arrange to show you some of the framed pieces but the best selection is displayed at the shows.

We accept checks as payment if you do not want to use a card. The mailing address is on the contact page. 
 

Shipping

Unframed giclees are shipped in a sturdy tube and several can be  shipped in one tube. Cards, mini matted pieces and framed artwork are shipped in a box. You should receive your unframed pieces within 2-7 business days. Mountain and Pacific locations might take up to 10 days. 

We charge a nominal shipping and handling fee and your shipment will go ground,  by Fed-Ex ( larger items) and US Post (smaller items)

International

We can ship unframed artwork to other countries with a minimum order of 75USD.  We ship in a sturdy tube  by US Post which  is a little slower than some commercial carriers but the cost is far less. Other carriers do a better job of expediting shipments through customs but there is rarely an issue with artwork. Our past experience is that shipping by other carriers adds about 100 USD. We ship to North America, Europe, Japan and Australasia.  Contact us if you have questions about shipping to your destination. Shipments usually take 2-3 weeks depending on destination.

We do not ship framed pieces to other countries


Choosing a size

The measurement we use are  IMAGE size. The paper size will be larger so there will be plain paper around the image. On giclees  the paper size will vary a little, but this is of no consequence. 
We use triple mats on framed pieces. Outer dimensions are approximately as follows:

• small      image  12" x 16"   framed  22" x 26"
• medium  image  15" x 20"   framed  27" x 32"
• large      image  21" x 28'    framed  35' x 42" 

The space needs to be larger than that to hang it. 
If you have trouble visualizing the size cut the same size from paper and  tape it to the wall. Use removable painters tape. This also works well to arrange collections.
